2024 Application Cycle Opens for Educator Professional Development Grants

Application Deadline: February 26, 2024

Warrenton, VA—The Fauquier Excellence in Education Foundation announces the

opening of its 2024 Educator Professional Development Grant cycle. This program has

been a core offering since the Foundation’s inception, with more than $300,000 being

awarded since 1984.

These grants allow Fauquier county public school teachers, educators, and

administrators to participate in high-quality professional development opportunities that

support their participation in conferences, seminars, research, cultural programs,

summer institutes, and more. Applicants must meet eligibility criteria, including a history

of at least three years serving within Fauquier County Public Schools and a commitment

to continue as an educator within the school division. Individuals may be accepted for

these grants once every three years.

Applications for Educator Professional Development Grants will be accepted through

Monday, February 26, 2024 by completing a Google form and providing required

documentation, including a principal recommendation. Both the application and principal

recommendation form are accessible at fauquiereie.org/grants.
